Monday Recap … All the Things! … Law of Attraction, Day #8

Hello everyone and welcome to the blog!

I know that blogging on Monday is not the norm, but when Sunday rolled around I just didn’t have it in me.  I wanted to relax and enjoy the calm before the Thanksgiving storm.

Ok so maybe “the storm” is not the right wording but I will be busy cooking and getting things ready so I just wanted the time to relax, and I’m still grocery shopping. (LOL)

I’m also keeping up with this Law of Attraction Journal, but in all honesty, I don’t know how much longer. I don’t like abandoning commitments that I’ve made but sometimes it happens.  Admittedly I dropped the ball on my 30-day challenges because I just couldn’t keep up with the goals that I was setting.

I am proud of myself for getting through 7 months before I stopped, so next year if I can do 9-10 months I’ll be happy with that.

So let’s recap last week

  • My napkins and flatware came in last week and my daughter and I finally set a menu.
  • I’ve taken out all my donations which were which were in several large bags, so I’ve freed up my dining room space.
  • Wiped down all my baseboards.
  • Washed all my dish towels
  • Inventoried my dry goods and spices so I don’t shop for things that I already have on hand.
  • Cleaned out my fridge to make space for everything; and that’s it … the rest will just have to be, and by this point they don’t even matter. (LOL)

So now let’s move to Day #8 in the Happiness Planners … Law of Attraction.

Law of Attraction

DAY8

Journal Entry…

This one is easy.  My vision for my health is to “permanently” lower my A1C.  Having Type 2 diabetes has been a struggle with highs and lows … good and bad, and everything in between

The one thing I will say is that my Type 2 has made me more aware of what I put into my body, and tamed my eating habits.  I watch my carb intake and read every label for any and all packaged goods. I exercise more frequently and I’m conscious of what my body needs.

My outlook is to get to a point where I’m just enjoying life with no medicine, and the ability to indulge once in a while.  Exercise will be 2nd nature and grocery shopping and food will no longer be that “thing” that brings me stress and anxiety.
