Day #2, Law of Attraction

Happy Sunday friends and welcome to The Happiness Planners: Day #2, Law of Attraction. Last week was full of ups, downs, frustrations, and discoveries with my work and home life.

When you’re going through something, everything is foggy.  I’ve been working at being quiet and listening to what God is telling me, by taking me through this tough time.  I’m still not sure of what I’m supposed to do, but I hope I’m headed in the right direction.

Today I’ll be giving an update about:

  • My AIC spike
  • Work struggles; and
  • Giving up Friday’s

JOURNAL: At this stage of my life I feel that anything and everything is on the table in terms of what I’d be willing to sacrifice, and my effort on a scale of 1-10 is 7.

I’ve never thought in terms of giving up something for my dream life because the plan was to pray, meditate on my positive affirmations, work hard, and make a plan for success.  From there I would somehow be blessed with my dream life.  Giving up something never crossed my mind.

This question reminds me of something my mother would say to me.  She’d say, imagine your hands in a fist, if you don’t release anything, (i.e., open your hands) then you can’t receive anything.  You have to be willing to let go of something, to get something you desire.

Approaching this exercise in this manner requires me to write down and visualize what my dream-life would be life. At this point, I can lay the groundwork from that plan, or maybe go back to the drawing board.
