The Happiness Planner, List of Attractions
Happy Sunday friends and welcome to my The Happiness Planner Series. This week is the List of Attractions which was last week’s homework. (Was that confusing?) September is here and rest is on the horizon.
I am so freaking happy for some time off that my head is swimming. I know I clearly will not be able to get everything done but I’m gonna try.
Today I’m talking about…
- Truly relaxing
- Fall Plans
- Personal Rant (i.e, Living in the DMV); and
- My List of Attractions
THIS WEEKS QUOTE
Why is it that exercises which deal with the things I’ve accomplished, or what I want in life going forward are so difficult. This list required a pause. I had to get quiet and really think about what I want to attract into my life.
I can visualize it, but speaking it into existence is scary. You’ve heard that saying “Be Careful What You Ask For”. I believe this to be true. Am I willing to accept the path that God has put in front of me, but I have to change my thinking and my feelings of self-doubt.
I know that God works through other people in your favor, but my fear is mistaking this for something else and missing something important. As a Christian, I know (deep down) that He never makes mistakes, so when I’m struggling with a question or a decision, He is the first that I turn to.
