Monthly Wrap

It’s Time to Wrap Up The Month of July!

Hello friends, and how are you …welcome to the blog!

What’s up friends, and happy August.  I hope you’re being productive, checking in with friends and family, staying hydrated, and taking care of your mind and body.

It’s August which is one of the slowest (and until now) hottest months of the year.  My motivation and energy level are only at 15% because I don’t feel like doing anything.

July flew by, and now it’s time to wrap up a month of blogging.  I’ve tried to be more cognizant of my posting, and I’ve really taken the time to prep and prepare these posts for you.  And so it goes.

A Round-Up of Posts for the Month

July Inspo Board

I’m always creating style and decor boards because it’s my favorite thing to put together, but July has been pretty slow, and since I dread summer, I thought it would be a great idea to create a board for all the things that I DO like about summer.

FROM  POST: Summer for me is cold popsicles on a hot-ass day and listening to albums old and new in the evenings.  It’s that fresh pair of kicks (sneakers) I love showing off right when temps rise, the dew on the grass in the morning, and those soft and light tones.

Summer Fun Bingo/Don’t Call it a Bucket List

This was a fun little project to create because I really put thought into these activities and what I would like to do.  Unfortunately, it’s been too hot for walks, but as the temp settle I may get my walks in after all.

What Did I Watch in July?

This was another month of more reading and less TV.  But I managed to squeeze in a few.

MOVIES, SERIES & DOCUMENTARIES
Say It Loud: History of the Black Sitcom (CNN)
They Cloned Tyrone (Netflix)
Host (so freakin’ scary)
Jack Ryan (Final Season- Prime)

Books for the Month of July

So many books.  Since I’ve had my Audible subscription back, I’ve (finally) finished Oracle (Audible Exclusive), The Amazing Grace Adams, Grimmer and Cold, Black & Infinite (Net Galley), We Sold Our Souls, The Paris Apartment, The Last House on Needless Street, and Dead Eleven.

GOOD READS CHALLENGE PROGRESS

I’m currently reading Kill River by Cameron Roubique and The Agathas by Kathleen Glasgow. All my current reviews can be found here.

My Printable Section

August calendars are available in the “free downloads” section on the blog, and I’ve updated my free domain art sources.

Podcast Series Update

I’m moving right along with my podcast series, and although I may have 5 listeners, it’s a great creative outlet for now.  Check out the playlist to get caught up on the latest episodes.

Well, Friends, I think I’ve covered everything in this round-up. Thanks so much for visiting and being a part of my little corner of the world here on the blog.  If you haven’t, don’t forget to follow and subscribe, as I really appreciate your support here on the blog. — Peace
