I’m back with another Best of the Best for 2025, and today I’m highlighting my all-around favorite posts. Don’t get me wrong—I love sharing decor, food, holiday content, books, and movies—but the posts I’m about to share took real time, intention, and care to research and curate into something cohesive.

Spend A Day With Me In My City!
This post took about two weeks to curate and gave me the chance to (virtually) revisit some of my favorite places in DC. Summer in the city can be hectic with tourists, but once the kids head back to school—and before the full frenzy of fall sets in—there’s a brief, perfect window of time. It’s during this quiet in-between that you can explore these gems at a slower pace and truly enjoy them.

I Really Needed This
Short but sweet, my Vegas trip. In this post, I mentioned why it was special. Of course, this was our first grown-shit, mother-daughter trip, but on so many levels, this entire experience was amazing. Traveling to the desert in 100+ degree heat to see the sights, and of course, The Backstreet Boys 25th Anniversary Millennium Tour, was the highlight, and yes, a little gambling. We are definitely going back to see everything we missed this go-round.
