Wintering: Work Ready!

Posted on February 9, 2025March 21, 2025 by LifeByWyetha

Hello Friends, and welcome to the blog today.

“Hope has far more hooks than fear, far more capacity to tear her apart from the inside.” – Kiersten White, Mister Magic

Friends, I hope you are doing well and giving yourself some grace in this new season.  Get plenty of rest and stay hydrated, but also check in mentally. We are in a season of chaos, so take care of yourself.

I’m no fan of my work commute. Even though it’s only a few days a week, it’s still stressful.  Trying to cohesively get everything into my work bag, plan my outfits, and prepare my meals doesn’t even include the workday.  I know why I’m so tired at the end of my day, but I strive to make my mornings less stressful.

So today, I want to share some great laptop and workbag options.

In my list are bags that have a few different functions and can be used for day trips or travel as needed, a diaper bag, and yes, they can fit your 15-inch laptop.

Bag Links

Wilo Puffer Tote [$29.99]
My good friend gifted me this bag last month, and I found it TJ Maxx.  I’ve seen it sold on Poshmark, but the markup is silly at about $60.  I think you can find this one for [about] $29.99

Bag Smart Duffle, Laptop, Diaper Bag [$62.99]
This can be a great weekend bag, but I can serve dual purposes for work, the gym, and as a diaper bag.

Calpak [$115]
This large tote is on the pricier side, coming in at $115.  It’s great for traveling with your laptop, but it’s small enough to fit in a plane’s overhead.

Ancedote Laptop Sleeve, [$39.99] Amazon
Don’t need a tote bag, so try this laptop sleeve from Ancedote.  It comes in several colors, is of good quality, and is priced well.  I have a few of the journals and pens by this brand, and I love them.

EaseGave Tote, [$49.99] Amazon
This stylish faux leather bag is great for business or casual occasions where you want to elevate your style and not carry a backpack.

Honorable Mentions (pricey)

Lululemon

Aritzia

I just started carrying my WILO tote, and I’m realizing I need to get some stuff out of my bag because it’s still heavy.  The shoulder strap helps because it’s across my body, but I really should only be carrying what I need.

I’d love to see everyone’s thoughts on your ideal workbag.

How does your ideal work back function for you?

Well, friends, I’ll end here. Thanks so much for visiting the blog today.  Don’t forget to follow or subscribe. — Peace —
