MONDAY: Where Am I?
Hello to all my lovely people, and Welcome to the blog!
This series of extraordinary events that are happening right now effect everyone in some sort of capacity. So I want to send out a prayer to anyone and everyone that’s been affected by this. Be Safe…
If this is your first time, I’m glad stopped by, and I hope you consider subscribing. If your already part of the family … welcome back.
Hello friends … It’s Monday, and where are you today? I work in Washington DC, but due to recent events my office along with most of DC is on mandatory Telework status.
Let me just say that everything is crazy right now, grocery shopping is ridiculous, doing simple errands is stressful, as we all stay glued to news outlets to watch what’s happening.
With that said … I’m talking about my process and Where Am I?
I’ve been keeping busy but there is also a sadness attached to that, and part of that is due to my recent move. I feel like I’m under this gray cloud that’s just one degree from bursting. My home doesn’t seem like my home, and that’s partly because everything is still in boxes, and I’m not shopping during this time.
My walls are bare, and it just feels like there’s no life around me. Almost like being in limbo. Don’t get it twisted, I thank God every day for where I am. For my beautiful home, my job, my family and my station in life, and I know that I am blessed.
However, my mind is not settled. I’m still working on studying my bible and taking care of myself, I’m still taking pictures, and working on UPcycle’s and crafts because I know that these are valuable tools to allow my mind and my body peace.
“God will sustain you with His unseen hand in the midst of profound weakness.”
With that I’ll end this here. Again … thanks for hanging with me today, and if you haven’t subscribed to Life by Wyetha, then get on it … and join the family. I would love to have you at my virtual table … and as always. — Know Thyself —
