Friday: Creative DIY Projects for the Whole Family

Posted on June 12, 2020June 15, 2020 by LifeByWyetha

Hello friends, and Welcome to the blog! If this is your first time, I’m glad you stopped by, and I hope you consider subscribing.

If your already part of the family … Welcome back.

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday.  It’s been another productive week, as it’s that time of year to work on performance appraisals.  What is that you ask?  It’s fluff and b.s. about all the things you’ve accomplished over the year to be graded on a point scale to determine how much of an increase you’ll receive.

I reckon I’m thankful that I have a job and I’m still working, and that they are even giving us raises.  It’s just all of the paperwork that comes along with this process.

Today I’m sharing more weekend DIYs to help fill the time.  These DIY’s are great for your time at home.  You can also get the kiddos involved, and they can take pride in something they’ve made.

I’m also sharing more art DIY’s as my previous post was about custom art … I’m giving you more ideas on adding to that gallery wall.

Easy Clay Magnets

Can’t find that special fridge or task board magnet in the colors you want.  Make these clay magnets or gift them to someone you love.

Graphic Wall Art

This $10 DIY definitely makes the list, and if you read my other post on making your own abstract art, all you would need is a few additional items for a small gallery wall.

Table-top Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Toe is fun for all ages, and what’s more creative than making your own pieces.  Even though this version female-friendly, you can make pieces for any hobby, style, or genre you like.

Cardboard Camera for Kids

One more creative DIY for the kiddos, and for the whole family.  Stretch the imagination and make cardboard cameras using craft items from around your home.

Color Block Clock

This is another great addition to your gallery wall, office, or kitchen and it’s completely customizable.  With a few items from Amazon, or your local craft store, you could knock this project out in less than an hour.
