Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!
Quote for today

How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, staying hydrated, and getting plenty of rest.
It’s June, baby! 🌞 Where did May go?

We’ve been pretty lucky around here with the weather lately. Instead of the usual 90-degree days 🌡️ and humidity thick enough to swim through 🥵, we’ve enjoyed some genuinely pleasant spring weather, and I am not complaining one bit.
Overall, May treated me fairly well. There was a little work drama (because of course there was), my clothes dryer decided it was time to retire without giving proper notice, and my seasonal allergies put me through the wringer before finally easing up.
I always enjoy the start of a new month. It feels like a fresh page, full of new ideas, new goals, and a chance to reflect on the month before. It’s a good time to celebrate what went well and take note of the areas where I might need a little extra practice—or, as I like to say, go back to school. 😄
So today I’m wrapping up all the May happenings here on the blog, along with a few other fun moments and highlights from the past month. Let’s get into it!

💕Ending the Week With Intention
Today I want to share a few things I set in motion on Friday (really, Thursday afternoon) and how I unpack them, physically and mentally, for the weekend. It’s not long enough, for sure, so I want to enjoy every minute of it. [more]

Here’s a quick round-up of everything I had time to watch in May.

Here we are at the end, friends. I know I’m a bit late to sunset May, but June is here, and the heat of the Summer is right around the corner.
My posts have been sporadic at best, but I’m being intentional about taking care of my body, getting the rest I need, monitoring my glucose, and making time for outings and a little fun.
I attended VinylCon in Baltimore last month, and it was great fun; I picked up some albums and had really good ice cream, and spent the day with the folks I love most. I also had a great day in Annapolis, and while I didn’t partake in the crabs, everything else was great. I had some tasty fudge, purchased some Summer tea, and enjoyed the sights and sounds.
Here we are at the end, friends. I know I’m a little late in putting a bow on May, but June has arrived, and the heat of summer is waiting just around the corner.
My posts have been a bit sporadic lately, but that’s because I’m being intentional about taking care of myself—getting the rest I need, keeping an eye on my glucose, and making room for outings, experiences, and a little fun along the way.
May brought a few bright spots, too. I attended VinylCon in Baltimore, where I picked up a few albums, enjoyed some really good ice cream, and spent the day with some of my favorite people. I also made my way to Annapolis for a day of wandering and soaking in the waterfront atmosphere. While I passed on the crabs, I happily indulged in some delicious fudge, got a sweet summer tea, and enjoyed all the sights and sounds the city had to offer.
As I move into June, I’m looking forward to more moments like these—simple days, good company, and making memories in between the everyday responsibilities. Thank you, as always, for spending a little time with me here. Until next time, friends—take care of yourselves, find some joy where you can, and enjoy the season ahead.
