Hello friends, and welcome back to the blog!
LIFE QUOTE
“Emotions are a gateway trait. They lead to feelings, which trigger tears. I don’t do tears.”― Wednesday, Season 1
Hello everyone. I hope you’re doing well—staying grounded, taking care of your mind, getting enough rest, and finding small pockets of joy wherever you can.
I’ve still been in a bit of a blue funk, weird headspace lately, so I figured I’d chip away at it with a little retail therapy. This definitely isn’t a “solution” by any means, and I’m still doing the work through therapy, journaling, and navigating whatever this season is. But in the meantime, decor has always been one of my happy places… so with that, let there be joy. LOL
I absolutely love TJ Maxx and Marshalls for home finds, and of course HomeGoods—although that’s really an in-store treasure hunt experience. But I think people sometimes forget that Home Depot actually has some really beautiful decor pieces too (Even though it’s mostly online shopping). Wayfair is another great option, and Crate & Barrel if you catch a sale. Today, I wanted to share a few home items I’ve been loving this season.
Today will feature items from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Wayfair.

When I get the privilege (in other words, when the math is mathin’), I’m looking for specific items always. Kitchen towels, hand towels, marble, ceramic vessels, rattan, coffee table books, and trays. [Also] Seasonally, these stores have great puzzles, candles, and snacks.

[9] Going Places Art ~ TJ Maxx
When it comes to trinkets, tchotchkes, and other décor, I’m never opposed to thrifting — friends, as you already know. Lately, though, the stores in my area have been a bit of a bust, even when I’m hunting for my usual go-to finds like vintage frames and little trays. Still, that never stops me, because half the fun is in the search itself. There’s something special about stumbling across that one-of-a-kind piece someone else overlooked, only for it to find a new life and purpose in your home.
With that, I’ll wrap things up here. Thank you, as always, for taking a little time out of your day to visit with me. Until next time, friends… keep hunting for the beauty in the little things.
