SYNOPSIS: A man and his sister discover something sinister in the skies above their California horse ranch while the owner of a nearby theme park tries to profit from the mysterious, otherworldly phenomenon.
MY RATING: (★★★★) What not to say about a Jordan Peele movie. You can’t argue that Get Out and Us isn’t engaging, terrifying, and comedic as most horror movies are. But Nope was different. By now, you know what the big bad is, but the plot and story of this movie make it a must-see.
Jordan Peele captured exactly how African Americans feel when we are watching a horror movie or put right in the scene. …nah, nah, nah …Nope, or just hell naw. (LOL)
