Home Décor At Marshalls and TJ Maxx

Hey there …it’s nice to see you back again!

What’s up, fam? How are you? I hope you are doing well, getting plenty of rest, slowing down to enjoy February, staying hydrated, and giving yourself some grace.

I know I’m the last person that needs more home stuff, and although I love thrifting, I’m always a sucker for all the goodies at Home Goods, Tj Maxx, and Marshalls, which are all sister companies. I didn’t list Burlington because (honestly) that store (in my area) is a train wreck, and you can never find anything.

Over the years, I’ve found some great deals, and I’ve always been able to get decor for any room that’s great quality and priced right. For this list, you won’t see anything from Home Goods because even though it is a sister store, you have to physically go in to shop, whereas, for TJ Maxx and Marshalls, you can order online.

In recent years, I’ve gravitated more toward a traditional style, which is interesting because it’s exactly what I grew up with.  I didn’t necessarily love how my childhood home was decorated, but I never paid too much attention to it.  I started to love colors and decor early on at about age 10.  Now, Traditional decor is making a comeback, but really, it’s never gone away.  Trends always reflect the past with curated knick-knacks, found objects, family photos, patterns, bold colors, muted tones, and beautiful greenery.

Looking at any movie from the 70s or 80s, you’ll notice this same decor in every scene.  I love the modernization of traditional decor, so we can include our smart objects, TVs, stereos, and other pieces that tie into who you are.  When someone walks into my house, I want them to know that this is my style.  My daughter instantly knows my decor style and will occasionally question why, but when it comes all together, it’s lovely.

Well, friends, I’ll end my post here. Everything doesn’t have to break the bank to be beautiful, and I hope I’ve given you some cost-effective ideas for home decor (no matter your style). Thanks so much for hanging with me today, and I’ll meet you back here soon.  Don’t forget to like and subscribe. — Peace
