The Best Brain Games!

It’s mid-week Wednesday!

What’s up, everyone, and how are you this Wednesday?  Are you doing well? Living in the present and not just existing? Taking care of your body and your mind? Getting rest and staying hydrated?  I hope the answer is yes to at least two of those.

No doubt that people have more time during the Summer with no school or activities and nothing on TV. Immersing yourself in a book is a great distraction, but why not give your brain something else to do as well?

Brain games, as we know, are anything that helps stimulate your brain, but these games can also improve your cognitive memory, problem-solving, and critical thinking, as well as improve your response time, attention span, and logic skills. Just a few hours a week can have a lasting effect on your overall well-being.

In some studies, brain games can reduce the risk of Dementia and Alzheimer’s.  Games are a beautiful distraction, and just 15 minutes a day can make all the difference.  Here are a few apps that I’ve found.

Also, check out YouTube quizzes on any and every subject just by searching for your favorites.  Quizzes are usually about 15 minutes or less, range from 15-20 questions, and can be played alone or with a group.
