My Favorite Shows on the Magnolia Network
Hello friends…It’s a beautiful day to have a beautiful day.

How are you this week? I’m always sending that no-stress, no-drama positivity vibes your way for a productive week. Make sure you eat well, stay hydrated, and check in with friends and family during these short days and long nights.
I watch A LOT of home decorating, renovating, and building shows and I love seeing the thought process behind the design and how people are decorating their homes. I know it may seem a bit daunting to always see folks improving and decorating their houses when I’m only renting but it’s cathartic for me.
Let’s be real …I live in one of the most expensive counties in the DMV (Wash DC, Maryland, and Virginia), and as much as I love it I know this area will not be the place for my forever home. But owning a home has been a dream of mine for many, many moons.

I find it interesting that there are so many cheap (dilapidated) old houses out there that I can afford (RIGHT NOW). However, I’m not prepared to move to Kansas, Idaho, Ohio, or Pennslyvania alone with me to take on the renovation of a whole house by myself.
At this point in my life, I know I”m looking for something like a rowhouse, townhouse, or bungalow that I can work with and fix on my own.

I’ve finished The Story of Home as I believe it’s a limited series and I’m not sure if it’s slated for a Season 2. Everything else, I’m still making my way through. Since the Magnolia Network is part of Xfinity I can watch these shows on demand, although I was given a year subscription 2 years ago so I still have my account info on file.
Do you like home building and decorating shows? What are some of your favorites? Let me know in the comments. Thanks so much for visiting the blog today and hanging with me for a little while. Don’t forget to follow, like, or subscribe. — Peace
