My LoFi Playlist for Spring

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

How is everyone on this fine Wednesday?  We are mid-week with “actual” Spring temperatures here in the DMV, and think in general warmer weather puts everyone in a fantastic mood.

Typically I hate summers because of the heat, and humidity, and it’s so miserable that you can’t really enjoy outside, or any other activities.  Music [however] always puts me in a good mood. I tend to reminisce about seasons past, and what I was doing then.

Today I’ve got a Spring Lofi [instrumental] playlist for you that won’t disrupt what you’re doing, and put you in a better headspace.

I know that LoFi music has been around for years and has recently seen a resurgence since the pandemic, so I wanted to share a few channels that I’m loving YouTube.

“Lo-fi” means “low-fidelity,” a term for music where you can hear imperfections that would typically be considered errors in the recording process. On YouTube channels like ChillHop music or DreamyCow, however, those “mistakes” become an intentional part of the listening experience.
