Wednesday: Book Review … What Are You Reading?
Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday. Thank you for visiting the blog today, and if you haven’t … I hope you consider subscribing.
How is everyone doing today? I hope everyone is staying safe and being mindful.
Today I originally wanted to do a beauty product review, but I just didn’t have the time to do a mini-shoot of my empties and go through each product, but it’s coming. I feel like I really fell out of doing beauty reviews as I am trying to keep my spending down and let’s face it. Beauty products are pricey. So I only get what I need when I need it, and this way I’m not wasting money or products.
This is, however, a great time to catch up on my reading. I’ve really picked up my reading since I’ve had the spare time to do so. Thank you to NetGalley for providing my current and upcoming reads. NetGalley another great medium read and explore different authors and give honest reviews in conjunction with Good Reads.
I’ve been doing a good job of keeping up with my book list even though Good Reads says I’m one book behind. I was actually reading two books at once so GO Me!
MARCH READING LIST
You’re Never Weird on the Internet, Felicia Day Memoir
Tales on the Fringes of Fear, Jeff Szpirglas
Comanche, Brett Riley
You’re Never Weird on the Internet, Felicia Day (Category: Adult Memoir) … (GR Rating | 4.12 ☆☆☆☆)
GOOD READS PREVIEW | From online entertainment mogul, actress, and “queen of the geeks” Felicia Day, a funny, quirky, and inspiring memoir about her unusual upbringing, her rise to Internet-stardom, and embracing her individuality to find success in Hollywood.
LIFE BY WYETHA REVIEW
Exactly What I Expected…
Who doesn’t know Felicia Day? Actress, Author, gamer, and entrepreneur. Her work includes Dr. horrible sing-along blog The Magicians and Supernatural to name a few. Felicia Day is so named ”Queen of the nerds.”
It’s not that this book is unlike any other memoir but it brought a smile to my face and lets anyone know that no matter what your obstacles are you can overcome them with a little brain rattling and determination. It’s always interesting to be on the other side and live in their world if only for a few hundred pages.
Felicia Day as an author, puts it right in front of you and talks about her life as a quirky child who grew up homeschooled but excelled at everything she put her mind to. She talks about her life struggles and what was at the root of her life-blocks, and anxiety.
Funny, sarcastically-entertaining, insightful, and an all-around Good Read.
