Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!
Quote for today
“Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”― Roy T. Bennett (The Light In The Heart)
How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, staying hydrated, and getting plenty of rest.

Friends, Spring has officially arrived—and right on cue, so have the allergies…with a cold riding shotgun. Between mornings hovering in the 30s and 40s, afternoons climbing into the mid-70s, and evenings dipping right back down, it’s no wonder my immune system finally waved the white flag. Add in helping my daughter pack and move, juggling work events, and running on very little sleep, and well…here we are. A full-on, no-frills, “sit down somewhere” kind of cold.
Now don’t get it twisted—I am not a Summer girl—but I will gladly welcome these 70-degree days, the longer sunsets, the soft bloom of spring colors, and that unmistakable lightness in the air. After what felt like a heavy, lingering winter, it’s like we’re all slowly emerging—peeking out, stretching a bit, and easing back into life. And honestly? I’m here for it.

📚Blog Printable Pages” UPDATED” for 2026
Friends, I have finally updated my book-tracking page to match my Goodreads Challenge, and let me tell you — it has been a long time coming. So long, in fact, that it absolutely deserved a post of its own and maybe even a shout from the rooftops. [more]

I am, at my core, a creature of habit. When I find something I love, I commit. I’ll use it, read it, make it, or return to it again and again until it no longer serves me or simply isn’t feasible. Fickle is not a word I’d use to describe myself — at least not when it comes to the things that ground me. [more]

Prepping for a move left no time for TV or movies, but here’s a quick round-up.
The Big Chill (1983)
John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023)
Memory of A Killer (Fox, 2026 Drama series)
Between Brothers (90s TV sitcom, 1997-1999)
Kingdom Come (2001)
March turned into a bit of a pick-up game when it came to reading, and I managed to make my way through a few titles. It’s one of the few things I still have the energy for these days—and I’ll take that as a win.

🎙️ Season 3 is Live!
Latest episodes for Season 3.
Well, friends, that covers just about everything for the month of March.
Friends, my affirmation for the entire month of April is rest. I just can’t seem to get enough of it—and honestly, I’m learning not to fight that. There’s something in this season that’s asking me to slow down, to listen a little closer to what my body and mind have been trying to say all along.
The article above put words to so many of the feelings I’ve been carrying—quiet exhaustion, the need to pause, the subtle reminder that I don’t have to be “on” all the time. It all feels very aligned with where I am right now, and it’s something I’ll be unpacking a bit more in my Confessions post.
Well, that’s it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by today. It means the world to me. 🫶🏻🥹❤️🩹 Don’t forget to follow and subscribe to my little piece of happiness. — Until next time…Into the further we go…
