Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!
Quote for today
“Men don’t have to pay attention the way we do. Men die because they make mistakes. Women? We die because we’re female.”― Grady Hendrix, The Final Girl Support Group”
How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, staying hydrated, and getting plenty of rest.

Friends, I don’t know if winter is truly behind us or not, because just when we thought we were done with “snowcrete,” we got dusted with more snow—then another quick round—followed by 55-degree weather. It’s enough to give a person whiplash.
I’m no fan of summer (believe that), but I am more than ready for some steady warmth to finally grace us.

💕Wintering 2026: A Few of My Favorite Things

What I Watched In February (BHM)
October brought a wave of movie madness, perfectly fitting for the spirit of the season. I’ve seen all the movies in my 31 Days of Halloween (over the years). However, I did catch a fun mix of old classics and new finds this year.
American Fiction
Waiting to Exhale
Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model
The Secret Mall Apartment
One of Them Days
The Investigation of Lucy Letby
Dave Chappelle’s Block Party
Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart

Latest episodes for Season 3.

Well, friends, that’s about it for February.
Sometimes I feel like I’m just going through the motions—stuck in a holding pattern, waiting for something to shift. I try to put my peace first in all things, but this season has a way of pressing in on you. Different stages, different weights.
Still, we move forward—softly, steadily, and with grace for ourselves along the way.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. It means the world to me. 🫶🏻🥹❤️🩹 Don’t forget to follow and subscribe to my little piece of happiness. — Until next time…Into the further we go…duces.
