10 Packaged Snacks That are Under 15 Carbs

Posted on July 23, 2021July 23, 2021 by LifeByWyetha

What’s up family!  Welcome to the blog today.

Welcome family and happy Friday.  I’m up in these “blog” streets today, feeling tired but thankful to be here in this space weekly. This week my daughter “B” had two wisdom teeth removed and two crowned, so as you can imagine the recovery pain is real, and I’ve been making sure she’s comfortable and has everything she needs.

Today I’m reposting a popular post about “10 Packaged Snacks That are Under 15 Carbs”

I’m always on the hunt for low carb snacks, and when I find something that works with my diet and meets my carb budget it makes me smile. Even if you don’t have Type 2 Diabetes (like me) and your watching your carb intake, there are still snacks that taste good and don’t have all those junk ingrediants.

Fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, hummus, and nuts are great, but when you need something on the go, a packaged snack works. I’m all for eating clean and having food that’s less processed, but I don’t always want to tote a heavy lunch bag or worry about keeping my items at a certain temperature.

Through trial and error, I’ve curated a list of healthy packaged snacks for people [like me] living with diabetes.  All these snacks are under 15 carbs with calories that range from 60-180.

— Snack Time —

OhMyGooda_Moon Cheese1. Moon Cheese Snacks //  1 carb, 70 calories

I’m always skeptical when a snack has nothing in it, but I was put in my place after tasting it.  They are so delicious.  My only complaint is that the bag is so small I killed it in a couple of hours.  This would be a good movie theater snack.  Moon Cheese snacks come in Cheddar, Gouda, and Pepperjack.  You can find these at Amazon, Vitacost, and Target.

2. GoGo Squeeze … Organic Fruit on the Go!, 15 carbs, 60 calories

Who says it’s a kids snack. (It really is.) But it’s perfect for an AM or PM pick-me-up, and it’s really all you need.  GoGo Squeeze has under 5 ingrediates and it’s hard not to love it. This snack is good for everyone in the family in Apple Apple, Apple Banana, Apple Cinommon, Apple Peach, and Apple Strawberry.

3. Skinny Pop, 15 carbs, 150 calories

I like Skinny Pop in every flavor but the kettle.  I just don’t like sweet popcorn.  It’s a great alternative, and perfect to keep at work, or you can prep this snack and place it in baggies to have at the ready for your lunch bag or on your day out and about.

4. Austiri Bruschettini, 11 carbs, 70 calories

A good low-carb cracker snack mimicking the bread for bruschetta. Try these with hummus, salsa, a homemade tomato and basil bruschetta or make a quick and easy snack box with fruit, cheese, boiled eggs and these tasty crackers.

5. Sahale Snack .. Maple Pecan, 15 carbs, 160 calories

Satify your sweet-tooth with these maple-pecan clusters.  This is another snack that you and your family will fight over, because it’s hard not to eat the whole bag.  The only draw-back if you have treenut allergies.

Blue_Diamond_Nut_Thins6. Blue Diamond Mini Nut Thins, 15 carbs, 90 calories

These little crackers make a great addition to your lunches, snack boxes, mid-day craving or day at the beach.  They’re a great on the go snack.

7. 4505 Chicharrones Fried Pork Rinds, 0 carbs, 80 calories

Pork rinds have never been healthy, but they are by far my favorite indulgence.  This tasty snack has gone through and upgrade over the past few years.  Baked not fried with 0 carbs, 0 sugar, 9 grams of protien and 80 calories, this is truly a no-guilt snack.

Traditionally served with beer or your favorite libations these pork rinds are addictive in Chili & Salt, Jalapeno Cheddar, and Smokehouse BBQ.

8. HU Dark Chocolate Bar, 13 carbs, 180 calories

Who says you can’t have chocolate. This vegan-Paleo dark chocolate bar comes in Salty, Crunchy Mint, Hazelnut Butter, Cashew Butter & Vanilla Bean or Plain.

Highkey_wafers9. High Key Wafers, 14 carbs, 120 calories

Ok you know nilla wafers bring back everything about my childhood.  My Mom kept this type of wafer (cookie) in the pantry all the time.  It’s now made a healthy comeback in a low-carb, keto-friendly, low calorie treat.

Bubba's Nana Chips10. Bubba’s Kettle Cooked Nana Chips, 14 carbs, 150 Calories

All the benefits of a banana with a kettle chip taste, and a little spice.  The ingrediate list alone is enough to grab all of these off the shelf.  Made with Green saba bananas, coocnut oil, organic apple cider vinegar, olive oil, sea salt, garlic, cayenne, onion, mustard, celery seed.  I’m ready for a little heat.

Having a special diet or Diabetes shouldn’t limit your options because there are so many other treats made with good stuff and under 15 carbs that are calorie friendly.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and I hope my list is helpful.  If you find any other tasty snacks please feel free to leave those options in the comments.  I’m always looking for healthy alternatives.  Don’t forget to “like” & “subscribe” — Peace —
