Welcome to the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies
Quote for Halloween
“Thank you for coming, but kindly remove your crazy asses from our holy ground.” – September House

Hello, friends, and welcome to Day #17 of the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies and the final day of The Witching Hour. It’s a little bittersweet for a few reasons, but mostly because it means we’re getting closer to Halloween—and closer to the end of October. I hope you’re enjoying the month and finding some time to take advantage of all those Fall-esque activities.
Light that Autumn-scented candle, grab a few pumpkins, and make your favorite seasonal drink because we all deserve a little time to slow down and immerse ourselves in the moment. This season goes by way too fast, so enjoy it while it’s here. 🍂🎃
Now, let’s take a look back at The Witching Hour and recap the week.

The last of 🪄🦇🧹🧙🏻♀️🎃…The Witching Hour
This week is all about witches, and I’ve only touched the tip of the broomstick 🧹 for this theme, because there are literally hundreds to choose from that I deem worthy of a looksee. From covens to cauldrons to creepy neighbors, babysitters, and school drama, these movies cover the gamut of all things witchy. With that, today’s feature.
DAY #17
MOVIE: The Craft, 1996
IMDb: 6.5
Genre: Folk Horror, Teen Drama, Supernatural
Starring: ✨ Robin Tunney ✨Rachel True ✨ Fairuza Balk ✨ Neve Campbell
SYNOPSIS: After transferring to a Los Angeles high school, Sarah (Robin Tunney) discovers that her telekinetic gift draws a group of three wannabe witches who are seeking a fourth member for their rituals. Bonnie (Neve Campbell), Rochelle (Rachel True), and Nancy (Fairuza Balk), like Sarah, all have troubled backgrounds that, combined with their nascent powers, lead to dangerous consequences. [TRAILER]
“You know, in the old days, if a witch betrayed her coven, they would kill her.”
THOUGHTS: Classic teen angst as things shift from lighthearted fun among a group of high school outcasts to something much darker. What starts as friendship, a little rebellion, and some harmless witchy fun quickly turns sinister when power, jealousy, and revenge take over. I would also like to point out that this movie has the BEST soundtrack ever.
I hope you enjoyed the last day of my themed 31 Days of Halloween in movies titled The Witching Hour. I’m ending Day #17 with a short quiz. Thanks for visiting, and stay tuned for next week’s theme…The Brain Buffet
