Hello friends! Happy to have you back on the blog.

Who else has a wish list that’s 100 items long? 🙋🏽♀️ Just imagine me raising both hands right now.
The more I focus on cutting back my spending, the more I realize just how many things I actually need. At the same time, my home could use a little attention—preferably before Fall rolls around.
I know people love to separate needs from wants, but mine are honestly a little of both. A few of my everyday tools have finally given up the ghost, and there are some furniture pieces I’ve had my eye on that aren’t just for looks—they’d make my space a lot more functional. So while I’m trying to be intentional with my spending, I’m also trying to prioritize the things that will genuinely improve how I live and use my home.
Today I’m sharing a list of “Right Now” things, and everything else will be a part 2 in the Fall 🍂 season.

1*TV Stand – This is a great option if you don’t want to mount your TV, as it sits flush against the wall and frees up some surface space. I’ll actually need three of these
2*Cordless Squeegee – Friends, my balcony doors are horrendous, and with this heat and humidity, they get worse every day. This tool would go a long way toward starting a routine of cleaning them once a month during the summer.
3* Laptop Stand – My laptop is always on the floor. I have a case, but it’s now being used for files and mail, so a dedicated, semi-modern place to park it would be beneficial.
4* Storage Baskets
5* Entryway console table or drawer – Who doesn’t need more storage? Since I gave my daughter the cube we originally had, I need something functional to hold mail, keys, maybe winter scarves, and the usual things you keep by the door. But its most important use is decorating for the holiday season. Yes, I have my priorities. Facts✨
I’ve been trying to thrift something for months, and I haven’t found anything. I’ve seen some things online, but I question their sturdiness. So, the search continues.
6* Tumblers – this is simply a want, and a placeholder because I’ve seen so many great options at World Market.
7 *Bed Skirt – I love how this can elevate your bed dressing while also hiding things under the bed.
8 *Plant stand – I have one, but another, or just a small table, would be great to get my newer plant (I call her Delores) off the floor. She’s a pothos and a climbing plant, so it would be great to set her near a shelf that she can climb.
9* Handheld Steam Cleaner – My Bissell Steambot died last weekend as I was using it.😭 This mighty workhorse is one of the tools that every household needs, from widowsill to showers and ovens. If you want it clean, this tool is IT!
Every time I post a wish list, I feel this tiny, imaginary pressure to eventually own everything on it. As if someone out there is keeping score. 😂 The reality is, I’ll probably pick up a few things I genuinely need, but the real purpose of these lists is to save ideas and inspiration for making my home a little more functional and a little more me.
I also have to remind myself that most of these items aren’t going anywhere (although that dresser has me a little nervous). They’ll be waiting when the budget says, “Go ahead.” Until then, I’m pacing myself, keeping an eye out for sales, and resisting the urge to treat every “Add to Cart” button like it’s a personal invitation. Because let’s be honest… the wish list will never actually be finished. It just evolves. And honestly? I’m perfectly okay with that.
Well, friends, that’s it for today. Thanks so much for spending a little time here with me on the blog. It means the world to me. Until next time. ᯓ Duces ✌🏽
