Hello, friends, and welcome to Life By Wyetha!

“Give me just enough information so that I can lie convincingly.” – STEPHEN KING

Friends, how is your May shaping up so far? Mine? Well…it’s okay. Only the minimal amount of complaining this month, which honestly feels like growth. 🤣 The weather, however, has been spectacular. Cool mornings, warm afternoons, highs in the 60s — and for once, I can genuinely get with Spring this year.
Lately though, I’ve been stuck in a bit of a blue funk. Not necessarily sad…just tired in a way that settles into your bones. My body seems to recognize sitting still as an open invitation to a nap 💤, which leaves my mind wandering. Not quite brain fog, because I can still organize my thoughts — hence this blog post — but enough to leave me feeling a little disconnected from myself.
I think what I need is some good old-fashioned R&R. A chance to unplug, rest my mind, and stop thinking 3 hours ahead of life (basically). Thankfully, a little holiday break is on the horizon, and I’m already dreaming about slower mornings, movies, naps, and absolutely no obligations beyond existing peacefully for a few days. Honestly? That sounds like luxury right now.
Now, back to the matter at hand. LOL. Today I’m here to share some of my latest approved ARC titles, which I’m absolutely over the moon 🌕 about. I’m beyond thankful to have been approved for enough books to keep me occupied for a while, because honestly, there’s nothing better than getting completely lost in a good book. 📖

I’ve started the Summer Fun Massacre mainly because I recently finished My Ex, the Antichrist by Craig DiLouie, which was definitely an interesting ride. Not quite a top favorite for me, but still entertaining enough to keep me turning the pages. The rest of these titles give me a little wiggle room, and I have time to review them before they’re due since I’m a notoriously slow reader who likes to take my time.
Friends, that’s it for me today and my latest approved titles. As you already know, I sprinkle in my Audible listens between physical reads, along with a novella or two when I need something shorter. How many books do I read at one time? Honestly, it all depends on the reason…or the season. LOL.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, it means the world to me and with that …into the futher I go…— Peace ✌🏾📚
