Hello friends, and welcome back to the blog!
LIFE QUOTE
“You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could’ve, would’ve happened… or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the fuck on.”
― Tupac Shakur
Hello everyone. I hope you’re doing well—staying grounded, keeping the winter blues at bay, taking care of your mind, getting enough rest, and finding small pockets of joy wherever you can.
This is another Winter Confessions journal entry #3 (as I’m calling them), and now that January has come to a close, I feel noticeably more reflective—and far less agitated—than I did in December. Still chasing some blues and figuring things out as I move through this phase of life, settling into a quieter, more thoughtful headspace.

The area where I live—along with many others—was hit with a heavy snow and ice (which the DMV has named “Snowcrete”, a combination of snow, ice, and sleet…yes, clever but still a mess). I spent two three full days digging out, and with the help of neighbors, I was finally able to unearth my car from the ice, with that deceptive layer of fluffy snow hiding underneath.
It definitely took a toll on my body, but I’m grateful I had the energy and bandwidth to get it done. Some days, that alone feels like a small victory.

Friends, thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me vent about all the things. It’s not a cure-all, but sometimes a good brain dump is its own kind of therapy 😄. Wishing you an excellent rest of your week.
