That’s a Wrap! Let’s Unpack the 31 Days of Halloween for October 🎃

Posted on November 6, 2025December 4, 2025 by LifeByWyetha

Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!

Quote for today
“Use the words ‘little’ and ‘girl’ to address me again, and I can’t guarantee your safety.”― Wednesday, Sn. 2

How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, getting plenty of water and rest, and enjoying some seasonal tea.

Friends, I’m finally wrapping up the month of October and my 31 Days of Halloween in Movies series. What a ride it’s been! October was an absolute blast—but it went by far too quickly for my liking. There’s always a little sadness in packing away the Halloween décor and shifting back into cozy Fall mode, but it’s not all bad. November brings its own kind of comfort—good books, hearty seasonal dishes, and plenty of movie mysteries. Around my house, it’s officially Mystery Movie Month.

As I tuck October neatly into memory and turn my attention toward Thanksgiving, I’m filled with a sense of warmth and gratitude. Living here in the D.C. area, I know times are challenging for many, so I’m sending you peace, strength, and resilience this season.

I took a little detour from the 31 Days of Halloween in movies to work on a project centered on self-care activities, and I’m so grateful to Davincified for sponsoring this part of the post. 🌿While I haven’t had a chance to fully finish my art piece just yet, I’m so close to wrapping it up—and I can’t wait to share the final reveal!

Movies, * documentaries *, and TV for October

October brought a wave of movie madness, perfectly fitting for the spirit of the season. I’ve seen all the movies in my 31 Days of Halloween (over the years). However, I did catch a fun mix of old classics and new finds this year.

The Rental [💬 disturbing ]
Smile 2 [👍🏽]
Trap [ just ok ]
Wayward ~ Netflix Series [unresolved ending]
Heart Eyes [ meh ]
I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025) [👎🏽]
The Monkey [👍🏽💕🥇]
Trick or Treat [ so-so 🤏🏽 ]
Bring Her Back [ uhhh 😉💬⁉️ ]

October in Books

Despite October being a busy month, I still managed to read a fair number of books, mainly audiobooks and novellas. I’m determined not to let that momentum fade.

November Calendars!

Since I’m late posting, it doesn’t make sense to add September or October calendars now that the months are gone, so I’m including the two I created for November.

Season 4 is Live and published bi-weekly (sorta)!

I haven’t had exactly the time to post anything with my busy September and October.  I have things ready to post and a podcast to edit, but I haven’t had the time.  Hoping to get back to it soon.

Podcast ARC Reviews

Well, friends, I think I’ve covered everything for October.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  It means the world to me.  Don’t forget to follow and subscribe to my little piece of happiness. — Peace
