Hello and Happy Friday!… Welcome back to the blog.
🫀 WEDNESDAY QUOTE 🫀
“Witnessing you chained and caged up makes my dark heart grin.” – Season 2.
FROM THE GOOD TRADE
Samhain — the ancient spiritual festival held on October 31st — marks the transition into the darker half of the year and serves as the inspiration for what we now know as Halloween. 🍂
While Halloween leans heavily on consumerism, chaos, and a bit of demonizing, Samhain is an ancient Celtic festival that honors stillness, reflection, and yes, death. It’s a more intentional, philosophical look at this time of year. In our fast-paced, production-driven culture, the idea of honoring stillness feels radical. But Samhain invites us to do just that: to slow down, to listen to what’s falling away, and to celebrate the quiet wisdom that lives within the dark. [More]

📺 WHAT’S ON OUR WATCHLIST 📺
This year, my daughter and I decided to build our Halloween watchlist by theme! We’re calling it “Five Nights of Frights,” with a different spooky theme (and a round of movies) for each night. It’s our little tradition to make the week leading up to Halloween extra fun—and maybe a little scary too. 🎃👻
We will be watching horror movies from Friday through to Sunday. I don’t have all the titles yet, but I’ll fill them in soon.

And just like that, another spooky season comes to an end. The pumpkins will fade, the candy bowls will empty, and the Halloween lights will dim—but the memories, movies, and little moments of magic linger on.
Thank you for joining me through 31 Days of Halloween in Movies. It’s been such a joy revisiting old favorites, discovering new chills, and sharing the fun with all of you. Until next year, keep the cozy vibes close and the spooky spirit alive. 👻🍂

Psst… Halloween may be over, but the fun isn’t! 🎃 I’ll be taking a short break, then I’ll be back to wrap up September and October and dive right into Thanksgiving holiday planning. 🍂✨
Until then — stay cozy, stay creative, and I’ll see you soon.
✌🏾 Deuces!
