🍿🎬 About Today’s feature 🍿🎬

“Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker.”

Day #29

MOVIE: It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Director: Bill Melendez
IMDB Rating: 8.1
Genre: Animation, Family, Halloween
Runtime: 25m
Tomato Meter: 90%
Starring: ✨ Peter Robbins ✨ Christopher Shea ✨ Sally Dryer

SYNOPSIS:  Linus waits in the pumpkin patch for the elusive Halloween symbol to appear. [TRAILER]

“I can’t believe all the fun I’m missing.  YOU OWE ME RESITUTION!”

MY RATING [0-5]: (5.0 ✨✨✨✨✨) It wouldn’t be Halloween without It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown—honestly, it wouldn’t be any season, some Charlie Brown. It’s pure nostalgic fun, though probably more for adults than kids (after all, how many children really know what restitution means?). Premiering just a year before I was born, it still holds up as a timeless favorite. Watching it now always makes me laugh, and my daughter and I love quoting lines back and forth—even when it’s not Halloween. Every time we do, it gives me that warm, cozy feeling that only this season can bring. 🎃
