Hello friends, and welcome or welcome back to the blog!
Quote for today
“Steppin lightly … like a woodpecker with a headache.” — Overton Wakefield Jones
How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, getting plenty of water and rest, and finding some peace in these chaotic times.

Out with June and into July, for which I am approximately seven (7) days late to the party, but no matter, I’m here. It’s officially Summer, and the only thing I can say is “I hate this heat“. 🥵 (LOL) I don’t want to expedite time, but I could really use some late October weather right now. I am (however) ready for nice, slow Summer vibes: evening puzzles, mocktails, lots of books, and a break from all things.
We know why I’m here today, I’m wrapping everything on the blog in June, so here it goes!

***Shopping***
While I’ve committed to doing no real shopping in June, I did try (and am still using) some new body products. I’m tired of using the Aveeno all the time for my diabetic skin, so after some research, I found some new brands to try. First is Naturium, next I’m trying Keys Soulcare.

Naturium (The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Wash)
Naturium (Urea 5% Body Serum)
dp Hue (Gloss+)

*Yes, I know… I saw this at the theater, and it was out of order, considering I never saw Part One, but I’m not a stickler for those things.

June in Books
I’m doing so well, I’m proud of me. Honestly, I have nothing going on this Summer aside from the occasional outing and restyling my home, so I have plenty of time to catch up on reading.
May was a good month for books. I felt like I got through a good bit.
