Countdown to Christmas…Thoughtful Holiday Gifts for Everyone
Happy Holidays, and welcome back to the blog!

“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?”― Bob Hope
Hello friends, and how are you this holiday season? There are only 13 more days until Christmas, so I hope you get plenty of rest staying hydrated, and don’t stress this holiday. Remember to connect with friends and family because, (for some), it’s a very lonely time of year.
STOP 🛑 right now and take 3 minutes, close your eyes, and <<<breathe>>>. You are present, you matter, and everything will be ok.
I haven’t done much this year because I’m only shopping for a few folks… my daughter, her boyfriend, and a co-worker. I stopped gifting to many friends and family members because it’s not affordable or practical, it’s stressful, but most of all,” grown people can buy their own S&$t,” and they’re not waiting on the holiday to be gifted. Now I’m not sucking the fun out of Christmas because it’s very special to receive a small token of appreciation, but I much prefer to get some that I’m seriously going to use.
I love how you can achieve the styles above (or a variation) by using the bare minimum. All you need is some greenery (real or faux), ribbon, rustic bells, lights, candles, and a few holiday accessories. Here are some great finds from a few of my favorite stores.

Some of the best gifts we can give only require our time and attention or maybe just being a sounding board for a friend or family member. You can plan a movie binge day at home with your favorite food or drinks, plan a Museum day with a friend, a sip and paint, or make a thoughtful dinner. As I age, I have fond memories from the holidays, and while gifts are thoughtful, they don’t last forever. However, I can always carry my mood or how I feel with me.
Friends, thank you for spending a little time with me here today. I hope I’ve inspired you to rethink your holiday gifting and that you still have time to have it shipped. Don’t forget to subscribe if you enjoyed this post. — Happy Holidays
