Hello beautiful people and happy Friday! Thank you so much for landing here today.
It’s Friday, and I can say that I’m just glad for the day. This weekend promised to be chilled and relaxed. Last weekend I painted my half bath and I don’t want to revisit that but I do have to touch up some areas so I’m hoping that will take up no more than an hour, and the rest of the weekend is mine.
Also as of March 1st, my job is “officially” open. I haven’t been to work yet but maybe one day next week I’ll go in. It seems so strange sitting at a desk and being at work because I’ve been working from home for so long, but it also seems like such a waste of time. The time is mean is commuting. Our metro system is running on a truncated schedule, with trains at 20 min apart vs. 3-5 min pre-pandemic, so no I’m not looking forward to that part.
But enough of that for now, I’ll cover my “real” feelings in a podcast this month. Today I’m sharing some new home decor at Amazon. We already know Amazon has everything from clothing to food, but they also have some great home decor items.

I really want to clear all my shelves and start out with new decor but I do have some things that I want to keep out. I’ve been collecting vintage cameras and I keep those out, and I want to start adding some vintage photos. You need a bit of your own personality mixed when you’re adding decor that’s trendy. I prefer to mix those things in with items I currently have to give my spaces an eclectic look.
