31 Days of Halloween: Day #13 …Simple Front or Small Porch Decor for Halloween

Posted on October 13, 2021October 13, 2021 by LifeByWyetha

Hello Friends and welcome to Day #13 in my 31 Days of Halloween series!

Happy Wednesday people!  I hope you’re having a good one.  Today I’m going to share a few front door and small porch decor ideas for a Fall-ish-Halloween. (LOL)

If you live in an apartment, condo, or upper level townhome…like me, we really aren’t allowed to have pumpkins or other items at the door.  If I was on a lower level townhouse, the skies the limit, but since I’m not I’m able to do those things a wreath, and a cool welcome mat is what I’m working with.

I haven’t been able to get a good picture of my front door when I did my fall home mini tour because the lighting is horrible.  But I promise I will get one for Halloween.  You don’t need tons of stuff to make your small outdoor space festive for the season.  In fact I’m the only one on this level with any kind of decor, and I understand to each his own so…on this list.

Key Pieces

I think you really only need a few key pieces to make big statment. A cool “Welcome” matt that’s festive, a door sign or wreath and a few pumpkins if you can have them.  So here are a few ideas that won’t break the bank.

  • Doormat
  • Rug under doormat (Optional)
  • Wreath
  • Lantern (Optional)
  • Pumpkins

Door Signage

You can go all out (if that’s your choice) for customized door signage on Etsy which is a little pricier but it depends on how your going to use your sign.

Halloween Extra’s!

If you have a bigger porch then you can go all out with pumpkins, lanterns, cut out bats for your front door, or witch hat luminaries.  Here are some great porches I’ve found on Pinterst.
