Welcome to the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies
Quote for Halloween
“This is the way the world ends; not with a bang or a whimper, but with zombies breaking down the back door.”– Hallowland
Hello, friends, and welcome to Day #23 of the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies, 2026 🎃 I hope you are doing well. Enjoying the last of some warm weather as we prepare for sweater weather, and experiencing something fun that’s not on your phone. LOL
Now … let’s get into today’s movie!
🧠 The Brain Buffet 🧠
“We want to eat your brains and steal your knowledge.”
Yes, friends, welcome to Brain Buffet Week, where it’s all about zombies! From classic undead lore to horror comedies and everything in between, there’s something here for every taste. Whether you prefer the fast-moving infected, shambling hordes, or the slow, relentless walkers, zombie movies are always a good time…minus all the carnage they leave behind.
DAY #23
MOVIE: Warm Bodies
Rotten Tomatoes: Rating: 🍅81%
Genre: Teen Horror, Zombie Horror, Dark Comedy
Starring: ✨ Nicholas Hoult ✨ Teresa Palmer ✨ John Malkovich
SYNOPSIS: 🧟♂️A terrible plague has left the planet’s population divided between zombies and humans. An unusual zombie named R (Nicholas Hoult) sees his walking-dead brethren attacking a living woman named Julie (Teresa Palmer) and rescues her. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and the pair embark on an unusual relationship. As their bond grows and R becomes more and more human, a chain of events unfolds that could transform the entire lifeless world. [TRAILER]
THOUGHTS 🧠: This is just too adorable (for a zombie movie) not to include, and since it’s PG-13 it’s on the lighter side.
“Be dead. Be dead. Be dead.”
