It’s a good day to have a good day.

Friends, I hope you’ve had a great week and that you are doing well. Make sure to stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, laugh with your head back, dance it out, and give yourself some grace.

I believe in my heart of hearts that there’s nothing like a little good ole’ retail therapy to shake off those gray-blue moods. Even when I’m going through a lil’ somethin’, I can’t deny that a new top or a fresh pair of kicks instantly lifts my spirits. (And yes, friends, I fully acknowledge my ongoing addiction to sneakers, booties, and graphic tees.)

Plus, there’s just something about adding lighter, spring-like pieces to the wardrobe that brings me joy.

Now, before anyone side-eyes 👀my shopping habits, I do keep a small donation stack going — about six items at the moment. Sometimes I’ll sell a few things, but most of the time I donate them because I’ve already gotten my money’s worth and then some.

I’m already imagining how I can wear my pieces and integrate them with my current wardrobe.  I didn’t want anything to be random, so I got some inspiration from Pinterest, looked at what I already owned, donated what I wasn’t wearing, and then got to shopping. 🛍️

 

I’m still on the lookout for black casual pants, another pair of high-top Chucks, these red flats,  a denim shirt, and a linen shirt.  After that, I’m good to go for this summer and others to come.
