Hello friends, and welcome back to the blog!
LIFE QUOTE
“Emotions are a gateway trait. They lead to feelings, which trigger tears. I don’t do tears.”― Wednesday, Season 1
Hello everyone. I hope you’re doing well—staying grounded, taking care of your mind, getting enough rest, and finding small pockets of joy wherever you can.
Life can feel like a hamster wheel—constant motion, always headed somewhere, yet somehow just going in circles. And that’s exactly why I look forward to my seasonal favorites. They’re my off-ramp from the madness, my little pause button. A chance to lean into new styles, lighter fabrics, familiar scents, and all the small things that bring a little joy back to my soul.

Before putting this post together, I took a little stroll down memory lane through my past “Spring Things”—and guess what? Not much has changed…except maybe the wardrobe refresh.
At my core, I’m pretty low-maintenance with it: give me a good lip balm, something rich and nourishing for my skin, a cute pair of shoes to step into the season, and a solid product to bring my thirsty 🥛 curls back to life—and I’m good to go.
With that, I’m sharing my Spring “9”: a shortlist of everything I’m using, finding useful, and loving this season.

LAPCOS Facial Masks
Stripped Skirt
Carrie Mary Jane Red Flat
The Doux, Dear Mama
Blistex DST Lip Balm
Iris Cartagena 502
Chuck Taylors Lift Platform

Striped Skirt | (AMAZON)
Amazon clothing doesn’t warrant a 2nd look (for me), and that’s due to past experiences, and my belief that this “disposable” fashion is bad for Mother Earth 🌍. However, another Pinterest dive led me to this skirt. Always skeptical because the reviews weren’t good, however, I was VERY surprised once I tried it on.
No crooked seams, the fabric wasn’t see-through, the pockets are a nice touch, and it pairs well with red shoes, or my Chuck T’s. I can’t say that I would use this company again because another skirt from this brand was made of thin, cheap material, and I’ve already returned it. Que será, será… Here’s the outfit in Indyx.✨
Leave-In Styler | (DOUX)
I stumbled across this product during a late-night Pinterest doom scroll—and I’m glad I did. I’ve tried so many products to maintain my curls, and it’s always the same story: either they leave buildup or have my hair feeling crunchy… and let’s be clear, those perm-and-spritz days are long gone (R.I.P. 1992).
I’m always on the hunt for a good styler, and this one checks the boxes. It works beautifully as both a leave-in and a styler—honestly, it’s giving “all-in-one,” and I love that for me.

The lymphatic system is an important part of our immune system, helping our body filter out waste and bacteria. The network of vessels and organs lies beneath the skin and includes lymph fluid. Lymphatic drainage massages help move excess lymph fluid toward working lymph vessels and nodes, so they can help filter out the toxins in your body. This helps reduce inflammation and puffiness in our face.
If you ever wake up with your face feeling puffy or you’re just hoping to feel less congestion, lymphatic drainage massage might be just what you need. A gua sha can help reduce inflammation, depuff your face, and release stagnation that can build up in the lymph system. While lymphatic massages can be done with your hands, many people prefer to use a lymphatic drainage tool. (Source: The Good Trade)
Well, friends, we’ve come to the end of this post, and I hope I have given you some things to try…(or not..LOL)
Thank you for sitting with me in this space. Wishing you a little peace, a little rest, and whatever lightness you need to carry you through.— Peace ✌🏽
Into the Further we go…
