Hello, friends, and welcome to Life By Wyetha!
Quote
“Last night, you were unhinged. You were like some desperate, howling demon. You frightened me. Do it again.”
— Morticia, “The Addams Family”
What’s up, everyone! I hope you’re doing well and staying warm this season. We’ve had some seriously chilly temps on my side of the globe, and the “Snowcrete” that stood proudly on every corner, like little frozen islands reaching ten feet tall, has finally started to melt at 45 degrees.

Friends… the city looks downright yucky. Those once-pretty snowfalls have transformed into grimy mounds of black and brown with the occasional why-is-it-yellow surprise, all topped with a chalky layer of salt. Romantic winter? Nowhere to be found. Even my car (Bernadette) has lost her dignity—she desperately needs a bath—but patience. Winter doesn’t rush, and neither will I.
Everyone, consider this your gentle reminder to get plenty of rest, take your vitamins, and carve out time to read a good book or dive into an activity that brings you joy. And for the love of your sanity — put down that phone! The world will still be there when you pick it back up, but these quiet moments? They’re the ones that refill your cup.
Yes, these are six (6) Upcoming Horror Titles I’m adding to my TBR, all dropping in February

(Feb. 10) Now Mavis is afraid she’s about to lose the only thing she has: her husband, Jerrod. The man she’s always known was too good to be true. No one thinks she deserves him—not even after surviving the serial cheater they wanted her to stick by—and soon they’ll all find out they were right. Mavis realizes that Hell isn’t reserved for the afterlife. And sinner or not, no one is coming to save her. |

(Feb. 10) Flailing against Liv’s popularity, venture capital superstar Tom Williamson–whose company is funding Liv–isn’t buying it. Mostly because dating an embalmed cadaver, let alone monetizing it, is obscene. It’s no secret that Tom struggles with people, dead or alive, but when he has a chance meeting with the woman who knows Auden (and his secrets) best, Mara Reed, he realizes everything is about to change for all three of them. |

|
(Feb. 17) Except the Hollow holds a secret. The town won’t allow its dead to rest. Forced to wander the earth for hundreds of years, the denizens of the woods have had enough. |
|
|
(Feb. 17) Motherhood seems like the natural next step, but when her husband travels for a work trip, leaving Sofia all alone with their unnamed three-week-old baby, she can’t quite square how mothering falls solely in her lap. Nobody seems able or willing to help her: not her husband, not her best friend, and certainly not the zealot mother she cut off long ago. |

(Feb. 24) But then a plastic face-masked serial killer begins slashing their way through town, one overly made-up mom at a time. The police are incredulous. The moms are indignant. And Jill is slowly wrapped into a killer’s murderous spree, until she might just be the last woman standing. |
