Welcome back to the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies.
WEDNESDAY – SN. 2
“Nothing like a bad pun to throw dirt on the coffin of epic poetry”
Hello friends! I’m back for Day 28 in the 31 Days of Halloween in Movies series. We’re so close to the end of the month and soaking up every bit of what this season has to offer. I hope you’re getting out there and having some (supervised) fun—LOL—enjoying a sweet treat, trying a new wine, and of course, watching a scary movie or two. 🎃

Randomly, I’ve seen old and new movies, as well as some TV series, and I’m enjoying everything.

This week is all about my favorite Halloween Movies!
I watch plenty of movies throughout the season—often at random—but there are a few special ones I return to year after year, as part of my own little tradition. These films mark the season for me, ushering in the chill in the air, the cozy pull of fuzzy socks and favorite sweaters, and the promise of something sweet to savor.

“Please don’t call me Miss Corny.”
MY RATING [0-5]: (5.0 ✨✨✨✨✨) I could probably recite this movie—dance moves and all—scene by scene at this point. I’ve watched it well over a hundred times in the past three years, and it never gets old. It’s classic Jamie Lee, classic ’80s, and while it definitely makes me feel a little nostalgic for ‘my time,’ I absolutely love it. There’s not a ton of blood—it’s a slasher, so mildly violent—but much like Halloween with Jamie Lee, it set the tone for so many that followed. And honestly, it’s the perfect mix of camp and charm that keeps me coming back all year long.
