My Fall Home Decor for 2025

Posted on September 27, 2025October 5, 2025 by LifeByWyetha

Hello Friends, and welcome to the blog.

It’s Fall baby…and a beautiful day to have a beautiful day.

Hello, beautiful people. How are you? Are you excited for the Fall season? I know I am. I thought it the temps would be cooler, but alas, we’re still not there yet. Remember to stay hydrated (even as the temperature changes), get plenty of rest, and take care of your body and mind.

🍂☕️🪵🕯️ Today I’m sharing my Fall decor for this season. 🍂☕️🪵🕯️

Before putting this post together, I looked back at my past Fall décor shares. In 2024—nothing. 2023—still nothing. But when I reached 2022, I finally struck gold. Sadly, that was the last time I shared my own home decor for Fall. Looking back also helped me realize why so many bloggers and YouTubers take their time with home tours—it’s not as quick and easy as it seems.

The reason this post has taken a little longer to pull together is simple—we live in our home, and it’s full of the everyday things of life. It takes time to clear, style, and tweak before I’m happy with photos, and that’s exactly what’s happening. Last month was especially busy, so while I managed to snap a few shots, they felt rushed. Now, with a bit of rest and some time to play around with the details, I’m finally ready to share my Fall décor for 2025.

… The Entry [way] …

I’ve added a few knick-knacks over the last two years, but my entry bookshelf hasn’t changed much.  I’ve been on the hunt for a taller bookshelf to thrift, but I still haven’t found anything, or if I have, I can’t get it home, or it’s already sold, but I’m hopeful I can find something that’s just the right size with good storage to keep this drop zone functional.

[Terracotta vessel] Marshalls [Faux stems] Michaels [Woman figure] Amazon, [Lamp] Amazon or Wayfair,  [Books] from my home library with the covers removed, [Glass tray] West Elm, [Mirror] Thrifted,  [Bowl] I can’t remember, maybe Marshalls or Maxx

The art is my Maximus ❤️ (Maxy for short); we had the portrait done after he passed away.

… Bookshelves …

I only decorate the very top shelf due to our (ever-growing) DVD collection.  [My daughter loves physical media 📼] In past years, I’ve cleared everything to stage it for this photo, but that’s not realistic or indicative of how we live day-to-day.

1ST …We have two media shelves that flank our entertainment cabinet, the 1st [Tapered Candle Holders] Magnolia Home, [Candles] Home Goods, [Art] Society 6 [Frame] Thrifted [Books] Etsy [Silver Urn] Goodwill [Horse statue] Michaels

2ND … [Mirror] thrifted, [Art] Etsy, [Skull] TJ Maxx [Glass Tapered Holders] Hobby Lobby, [Blackbird] Amazon [Wooden box] My beloved Trinity’s ashes ❤️ [Branches] Michaels.

… Living [space] …

My living space is small due to the weird layout of the condo, so what I’m using as a “coffee table” is actually a seating bench from IKEA.  I had an idea to paint the legs, and I may still get around to it, but it’s been four years, so that’s wishful thinking. (LOL)

[Wooden box] Amazon – we keep our remotes there. [Scalloped basket, Vase, and faux stems] Walmart… I mentioned it in my “What’s at Walmart for Fall” post. [Pillow pumpkin] It’s so old I don’t remember, [Lumbar Pillow] Home Goods  [Fireplace art] Etsy

… Dining [room] …

My dining room has been a catch-all lately, and it’s been a struggle to keep it tidy, but we do our best.  I’ve also moved some things (like my Keurig) out of the kitchen to give us more counterspace, so now it lives in the dining room as well.

At the center of my table are [Books] from my library [Black vase] Amazon [Feathers] Etsy …they are not the best and really small so I’ve been looking for more, [Blackbird] Amazon [Gold finish lamp] Home Depot … also have one of these in my bathroom, but this one doens’t last after a charge which is sad.

I’ve also included a few other little spaces around my living area, because I don’t have large surfaces to decorate, but I still have fun doing what I can.  It brings me joy.  Fall decorating is all about personal interpretation—it doesn’t have to shout ‘autumn’ with bright colors or smiling pumpkins. Subtle, muted tones can be just as effective in capturing the quiet shift of the season.

🍂🤎 You don’t have to spend a lot to decorate; you can find things around your home, through foraging, or even at your local garden center or grocery store. 🍂🤎

Well, kiddies, that’s gonna do it for today.  I hope you enjoyed this short and sweet tour of my home.  Thank you so much for visiting. Don’t forget to subscribe, like, and follow. —  🍁 Happy Fall! 🍁
