How are you today? I hope you are staying productive, reading a good book, getting plenty of water and rest, and getting ready for the Fall season.
Friends, I am SO BEHIND with this post, but with vacations, a birthday, and an office move, I haven’t had the time to get back here as soon as I wanted. But I promised myself that I would enjoy my time off, step away from this box, and enjoy Summer. Traditionally, I’ve despised Summer. The heat and everyone’s exuberance for the vacations I couldn’t afford made me miserable.
As a single parent, I’ve valued experiences with my daughter, so our mother-daughter trip this Summer, concerts, movies, and a sip and paint night, have made this time bearable. With that, let’s get into the blog happenings this month.

I’m going to share one of my favorite posts for each month. This post highlights my Vegas (mom-daughter) trip, and I loved every minute of our hot, chaotic, hectic time in the desert.

We saw a few and, due to The Conjuring: Last Rights premier, started watching the franchise, which “technically” starts with The Nun. My head was primarily in a book and playing my favorite games.
