Early Fall Decor Inspiration!

Posted on August 11, 2025September 8, 2025 by LifeByWyetha

Welcome, and come on in!

šŸ Autumn leaves don’t fall, they fly. They take their time and wander on this, their only chance to soar.ā€ — Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing

Hello friends, how are you?Ā  I hope you are doing well, staying hydrated, taking some days to unplug, taking care of your body, getting plenty of rest, and taking your vitamins.

Friends, I’m reposting some Fall decor inspiration from last year.Ā  Why?Ā  Because good decor never goes out of style.Ā  Over the years, I’ll add more foliage or some floral, but my knick-knack, art, and pumpkins will never go out of style.

REPOST FROM 2024:
Fall šŸ is like my first Christmas, and Halloween šŸŽƒšŸ•Æļø is my second Christmas (LOL). It’s an exciting time as the weather gets cooler. We turn the clocks back for the season, and the beautiful colors peek out of every bit of foliage, pumpkins, and fall spoils.

I’ll be shopping my storage unit in the coming weeks to add some Fall touches throughout my home.Ā  My decor is never the same from year to year, but my style never changes. I’m always looking for some inspiration via Pinterest, and while these inpso photo’s are older I feel that traditional Fall decor never goes out of style. The flashy “Fall Ya’ll” and all the distressed cottagecore items don’t stand the test of time.

I’m sharing my entire Fall Pinterest board, which is a compilation of styling, boards, shopping, and everything in between. I update this board regularly, so there are fresh ideas daily. (LOL)

Vignettes

In interior decorating, a vignette isĀ a carefully arranged grouping of decorative objects that creates a visually appealing and cohesive display, often telling a small story within the larger space.

A cozy, moody Fall vibe for your living space. Sources from EmilyLaugherty and ElenaTalvera on Pinterest.

The one theme running through all these spaces is moody, cozy, and dark set with pumpkins, pillow covers, candles, artwork, and florals. Just a few well-placed decor items can change the look and mood of the entire space.

A Few Other Ideas šŸ’”

  • Another way to decorate for Fall is to work with what you have by shopping your home and foraging the rest. Before you spend money on those faux stems or leaves, check your neighborhood.
  • If you’re creating a vignette, check out your grocery store for pumpkins, candles, gourds, pinecones, and fresh flowers, which are cheaper options for decorating.

At your local thrift store, you can find…
* Pottery and vases that can be spray-painted
* Old books where you can remove the covers to use as props
* Thrifted lampshades can update your current lighting
* Mirrors to layer with art
* Picture frames for vintage photos

Free Sources for Art (Well, it’s almost free)
Check out my link forĀ Public Domain Art sources. You’ll have to pay to print your images, but Walgreens and Staples always have great discounts for large prints.Ā

If you have a small budget, here are a few options.

Amazon

Etsy (this is where I get most of my printed art)
AllPosters.com
Magnolia
Marshalls
TJ Maxx
Home Goods
World Market

Friends, I’ll end this post here, because I can spend oodles and oodles of time on fall decor.Ā  I hope I’ve given you some inspiration and ideas for your home.Ā  I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Thanks so much for visiting my corner of the world. I appreciate all the love and support. — Peace
