Countdown to Christmas: What’s On Your Playlist?

Hello Friends. Happy Holidays welcome or welcome back to the blog.

You can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights” Maya Angelou

Merry Christmas friends.  I hope this post finds you well, not stressed, and enjoying your time with family and friends. We are just a few things out, and it’s been a really chilled couple of days wrapping things up because not only is Christmas just about here, but the year is ending.

I’m all about holiday music this season, and we’ve added a few vinyls to our collection this year.  I love the classics, but there are a few others that I listen to as well.  I don’t know if new artists are making Holiday albums anymore because I’m so out of the loop on those things.  However, I don’t miss a holiday without listening to some J Five, Sharon Jones, or Ella.  With that, it’s time to list those faves.

My Favorite Holiday Albums and Playlist

I Dream of Christmas, Nora Jones

Norah Jones has been a warm voice of comfort and reassurance for nearly 20 years since her cozy 2002 debut, Come Away With Me. Now, the 9x GRAMMY-winning artist has made her first holiday album with I Dream Of Christmas, a collection of timeless seasonal favorites (“White Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Christmas Time Is Here”) and profound new originals that explore the complicated emotions of the past year and our hopes that this holiday season will be full of joy and togetherness.
