Hello my friends and how are you. I hope you’re doing well, staying hydrated, and enjoying some Fall actitives. As we move into the 3rd week of October, I’m making this weeks posts all about the movies.
Today I’m sharing some surprisingly good movies to stream for the 2022 Halloween season. You definately shouldn’t sleep on these flix, because they may scare surprise you.

In 1988 best friends Abby and Gretchen navigate boys, pop culture, and a paranormal force clinging to Gretchen. With help from a mall exorcist, Abby is determined to compel the demon back to the pits of hell — if it doesn’t kill Gretchen first.
V/H/S 94 – Streaming on YouTube
A mysterious VHS tape reveals a sinister cult that has prerecorded material that uncovers a horrifying conspiracy.
Hellhouse LLC – Streaming on Tubi
Five years after fifteen people were killed during a haunted house tour, a documentary crew visits the scene to investigate what really happened.
Grimcutty – Streaming on HULU
A suburban teen girl and her little brother must stop a terrifying internet meme brought to life by the hysteria of their parents.
I’d like to note that my threshold for horror films may be different than others. I’ll watch “almost” anything except for torture movies. I’ve seen two movies in this list (Hell House, LLC and Host) and OMG scary good.
