January Fav’s

Hello party people, and happy wondrous Wednesday.  It’s that time [although I’m a bit late] for my January favorites.  Here’s a short list of my love’s.

JAN_Favs

Amongst the Flowers | Cedar & Rose Whipped Body Butter |This feels amazing, and it’s really light, and not greasy.  The Cedar & Rose is a more masculine … woodsy scent but I love it.  It’s perfect for a spa day, or right after a bath.

Pacifica | Indian Coconut Nectar | I gifted this to myself and “B” [she has a different scent] over the holiday, and I’ve been using this vs any perfume.  It’s a hair and body mist that reminds me of summer … I could smell this all day.  It’s best to use it on damp skin, to get the most from it.

Grown Alchemist | Vanilla Orange Peel Hand Cream | I keep this in my bag and it’s my goto hand cream.  It has a light scent of orange and vanilla and it’s not overwhelming.  This is not a heavy winter hand cream, but it does the job.

As I Am | Long & Lux … Curl Enhancing Smoothie | To all my naturals out there, this is the best curl cream I’ve used in a long time.  I’ve always loved the As I Am line, but the Long & Lux line is fabulous.  I’ve been searching for the right products that would work with my hair type and this is it.  My 3c-4b hair loves this cream.  I use it to style daily and after my conditioner with no build up.

Stop and Smell the Lilies Candle | This was an impulse buy at the checkout line in TJ Maxx, but I just love the scent.  In just 10 minutes it fills my space with this beautiful scent, that reminds me of fresh linen.  Since TJ Maxx is always in flux with candles and other small items, I’ve found the link for this candle at Francesca’s.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.  Don’t forget to “like”, “comment”, and “follow”.

  1. Hi!
I am want to try the As I Am! Do you think it’ll work on my 3c/4a hair?

    1. I know every head of hair is not the same, and I had to weed through so many products to find one that would work, but I say it’s worth a try. I use this after shampoo to style my hair, along with the As I Am Curling Jelly. It works well on Bantu knots, two-strand twist, and it has pretty good slip.
