Hey There! Welcome back.
It’s a good day to have a good day.
Friends, I hope your weekend is going well, and you’re enjoying some nice weather. Make sure to stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, take a walk, and try something new this season.

It’s Fall! Well, almost anyway, which is as good a time as any to take a look at my wardrobe and update my fits and styling for the season.
My last “Wardrobe Bitty” was just a handful of pieces, but looking back, those few additions went a long way this Summer—whether I was dressing for work or putting together something casual to hang out in.
In all, I picked up two basic white tees from Uniqlo, five poplin maxi skirts, one cut-off jean jacket, and three pairs of kicks. Paired with my existing jeans and long shorts, that was really all I needed.
For Fall, I’m taking much of the same approach, and the good news is that shopping will be minimal. As the weather gets cooler, I can layer what I already have with sweaters, boots, and accessories to create the perfect outfit for work, Sunday brunch, book shopping, or whatever else the season brings.
Please note my sneaker addiction 👟 …I could seek help, but why would I …LOL

I promise this color scheme isn’t on purpose, but it’s purposeful, and paired with dress pants, my button-down shirts, and other existing pieces, these will integrate very well.

PLEASURE PRINCIPAL TEE (Etsy)
I have been obsessed with this t-shirt for many months because, when I first saw it, you couldn’t just do an internet search to find it. (Damn, I’m a dinosaur) LOL
CHELSEA BOOT (The Rack)
My old ones gave out, so it’s time for some new ones.
CUT-OFF JEAN JACKET (Kohl’s)
Oh, the pains I went through for this one. However, it was worth it because I’ve been able to wear this all season.
ADIDAS BARRUDA (The Rack)
This is a closed version of the Mary Jane-style shoe I purchased recently. I’ve already worn them once, and they are so comfortable.
CROSSBODY BAG (The Rack)
This bag is a placeholder because I haven’t fully decided if this is the one I want.
FLAIR CROPPED JEANS (The Rack)
I love the fit of Democracy Jeans, and I’ve only had 2 out of the 6 pairs I have not work. Once you find a pair of jeans where the sizing is perfect, you stick with that brand, and that’s what I’m doing.
FAUX LEATHER A-LINE SKIRT (The Rack)
I have a black one that’s identical to this one, and I love how you can dress it up with boots or keep it more relaxed with sneakers and an oversized sweater.
MOHAIR BLEND SWEATER (Thred Up)
This is my second mohair-blend sweater, and I really love this style. Since it already has that fuzzy, lived-in look, it doesn’t pill the way regular wool-blend sweaters tend to. The only drawback is care—100% mohair is typically dry-clean only, and this blend may be the same.
It’s also the only piece I can’t link, but check ThredUp and Poshmark for similar styles.
RED BALLET FLAT (The Rack)
I’ve been side-eyeing this shoe style for some time, and it’s been taking up residence in my shopping cart for a while. I think it would give me so many options and something besides sneakers or boots to wear. Not that I don’t love my sneaks, but I haven’t had a flat shoe that felt good in years. Maybe this will be the one. 🤞🏽
Now let me style a few outfits. 👗
This is only a small bit of what I can do with just a few pieces. Using Pinterest for inspo really helps me focus on not just wearing the clothes, but actually creating a fit—something I love, feel good in, and will continue to wear.
