Happy Holidays, and welcome back to the blog!
QUOTE
āMy idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?āā Bob Hope
Hello friends, are you excited yet? I hope you’re getting plenty of rest. Staying hydrated, not stressing this holiday, and connecting with friends and family. STOP š right now and take 3 minutes, close your eyes, and <<<breathe>>>.Ā You are present, you matter, and everything will be ok.

āFriends, Iām backārunning a little behindābut ready to kick off my Countdown to Christmas (a small upgrade from the 12 Days of Christmas) and share all things holiday. Iām bringing you dĆ©cor inspiration, some fun ornaments, favorite movies, activities, and even a few games. So letās jump in⦠the countdown is officially on, and weāre now 14 days away from Christmas!ā
FROM 2024: I donāt really follow Christmas dĆ©cor trendsāand I definitely canāt afford to switch everything up every yearābut I have noticed a shift lately, mostly thanks to my deep dives on Pinterest. The vibe this season leans toward a soft, rustic holiday look: deep earthy tones like browns and taupes, rich greens, and classic reds. And can we talk about the ribbons? Theyāre everywhere, adding the prettiest touch to lush greenery. Whether itās live or faux, garland instantly makes a space feel festive, and the Norfolk pine continues to be the most realistic option out there.ā

The only new touch Iāve added to my holiday dĆ©cor this year is a little āsnowā (fiber fill) that creates a soft, fluffy cloud around everything. Itās simple but so pretty. Otherwise, a few mini trees and some well-placed ribbons on my everyday dĆ©cor bring out all the holiday vibes without completely taking over the space.
