See a ghost or meet a real vampire?
Friends, it’s Day 17 of the 31 Days of Halloween in moviesāand my lovely Blog-tober.Ā I’ve been enjoying creating this series, and I hope you are as well.Ā It takes months of pre-planning and prep, but it’s a labor of love.Ā Make sureĀ to get plenty of rest, check out aĀ Halloween playlist, and enjoy the falling leaves, scents, sights, and sounds of this time.

This week of “Cult Classics”Ā has been a trip down memory lane of movies I was too chicken-shit to watch when I was younger, but have grown to appreciate (and become a fan as an adult). Since it’s Friday, make this your Midnight Movie Madness film to watch.

MY RATING [0-5]: (āØ4.8āØ) We’re digging in deep in the video bin for this flick today.Ā Carrie is a cult classicābased on Stephen Kingās debut novelāand who doesnāt love seeing Sissy Spacek and John Travolta (well get’er done then) in this flick? While the book dives much deeper into the story, the film still stands out. It might not be the best thing youāll ever see, but it set the stage for the whole āmean girl horror revengeā subgenre that followed.
