Monthly Wrap

It’s Time to Wrap Up The Month of February!

Hello friends, and how are you today…welcome to the blog!

QUOTE FOR TODAY
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” Bernard M. Baruch

Greetings and salutations or I can go with, what’s good, what’s poppin’, what’s crackin’, how you livin’, what’s good, what’s happenin’. I hope you’re being productive, checking in with friends and family, staying hydrated, and taking care of your mind and body.

We’ve had unseasonably warm weather over the past few weeks and for February (overall).  DC’s famous Cherry Blossoms will bloom too soon, there are already little buds on every surface (stirring up my Spring allergies), and it’s still Winter. I mean can we say …global warming, can we all agree that Climate Change is a real thing?

Anywho, it’s the end of the month and it’s not like February flew by, the month felt longer than usual. I had some health issues this month (just another gift from Diabetes), and I’m slowing down and taking care of myself. My energy levels have been excellent lately and I’m just happing feeling more balanced.

All month long I’ve slept terribly, but I have upped my vitamin intake to counter what I lack in sleep.  Otherwise, I can’t complain in the land of Wye. (LOL) So here are my happenings for February …and so it goes.

A Round-Up of Posts for the Month

Vision (Idea) Board for February

Dollhouse Happenings

It’s been so long since I’ve worked on my dollhouse.  This doesn’t include the ball-jointed dolls that I wanted to build a house for, but the IKEA dollhouse that I started back in July 2021.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve purchased furniture, and wallpaper (scrapbook paper), and planned out some rooms.  My daughter is gifting me a kitchen, but there are still some areas I would like to finish before I work on another house.

See my dollhouse journey here!

Here is my vision board for a small sitting room.  I’ve worked in bits and pieces but I want to do a room from start to finish.  The sitting room will have bookcases along the wall, wood beams, wallpaper, and a fireplace, and I will DIY some plants.  I may try my hand at trying to make the bookcases but I don’t have what I need to cut wood (TBC).

Wallpaper – Amazon
Bookcases (If I can’t make them) – Etsy
Mirror – Etsy
Chairs – Etsy
Rug – Etsy
Plants – DIY

I also found this miniature magazine called Shrunk which is giving me some fantastic inspiration for dollhouse DIYs.
