A Round-up of Posts For The Month of March!

Hello friends, and welcome to the blog today!

Hello beautiful people, and how are you today.  I’m rounding up a month of activities and posts on the blog for the month of March.

🎶 It’s the end of the month 🎶, and I know your like …why is she singing…uh because I can.  How are things on your side of the globe? We’ve been hit with some 30-degree weather this week, so my heat went back on Monday when I just had the AC on last week…I know it’s crazy.  Can we say Climate Change (I think we can)?

Enough yacking, here is my round-up of posts for March.

New on the blog!

My blog is not book-focused by any means, but I wanted to create a section to highlight what I’ve been reading (over the years) and a few reviews I’ve written.  I’ve created a book review archive page, for 2020, 2021, and 2022. Each page is dedicated to book reviews for that year.

New Artwork!

I finally purchased some artwork for both my bathrooms after much debate about the style and theme.  Print artwork is cheaper than canvas but when you add everything up plus shipping and frames, things can get quite expensive.

I also when back and forth with style and themes, because I don’t want artwork that I’ll have to take down because I didn’t make the right choice.  I want something timeless so I picked some brighter art, and I incorporated so African American artists.  Here is what I choose.

Note:  The scary puppets’ art print is from the movie The Wiz These puppets are from the subway scene.

What Books I Finished This Month

I’m still on a roll and blasting through my Good Reads Challenge for 2022. This month I finished The Guest List by Lucy Foley, Later by Steven King, Night Shoot by David Sodergren, and The Sleep Tight Motel by Lisa Unger (audiobook).  I just started The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

Note that 2 of the books were audiobooks and one from the library so I only had 14 days to get through it.  Normally I don’t like to read on a timeline, but listening to audiobooks is a great alternative because I can listen to them while I work or while I’m doing my chores around the house.

Movies & TV Series This Month

Per usual I’m engrossed in way too much TV (LOL) but we love, love movies around here.  Here’s everything I’ve watched this month.

Scream 2022 ★★★★★
Don’t Look Up ★★★★½
Nightmare Alley ★★★
Insecure ★★★★★ (I binged the entire series in a weekend)
Better Things (Only in Season 2)
Scorpion (We’re a few episodes into Season 1 of this TV Drama)
The Movies That Made Us (Were in Season 2)

That’s going to end my March roundup.  Thanks so much for visiting the blog today.  Don’t forget to follow and subscribe, as I really appreciate the support. — Peace
