Wednesday: Yo Those Graphics!

Hello, my friends and Happy Wednesday! Today I’m talking about how I use Canva to elevate my blog and social media.

First things first … if you are new to the blog “Welcome”, I hope you stay a while and consider subscribing or hit that “like” button. If your part of the family … how are you? and Welcome back.

I’ve been pushing this post to the side for some time, but no more. No day but today (tell me you know where that is from … leave a comment below). I want to share how I create templates, Pinterest PINs, headers and graphics for my blog and social media with Canva.

What is Canva?

Canva is an online resource that lets you create thousands of designs, for your business, or personal brand. Everything is completely customizable, and there are so many fonts, photos, designs and templates to choose from to take your projects to the next level.

I’ve been using Canva for 5 years for school projects, both my blogs and Facebook. I simply love everything you can do, and it’s easy to work with, if you don’t have the patience for Photoshop.

Overview

Now I’ll show you a few things you can do with Canva. Oh and … by-the-by … this post is TOTALLY not sponsored, I just want to share one of the many tools I use on this blog. For a complete list of my resources visit my Resources & Lists page.

Note:  I had to publish this on YouTube because WordPress only will allow so much space for uploads.

NOTE:  Please excuse the quality.  This is my first time doing a screen capture and using iMovie (I promise I’ll get better…lol)

Canva has “Free” and “paid” plans and for 4 years I used the free version, until I wanted to use a particular font that wasn’t available on the free side. So I took the plunge and did a 30-day free trial which really came in handy for my 31 Days of Halloween series.

This site has been a helpful companion for everything that I’ve created and a great resource, so if you have some time (because it takes time to learn anything new), give Canva a look-see, and you’ll be glad you did.

With that I’ll close out my blog post today.  Thanks so much for taking the time to visit, and I’ll see you back here on Friday. — Peace.
