Happy Friday … New Decor Ideas!

Happy Friday friends and welcome to the blog today. If this is your first time stopping by, I hope you stay for a while and consider subscribing.  If your subscribed … it’s nice to be with you again.

Here we are at the end of another blessed week; another productive week; and another busy week.  If you haven’t read any previous posts I’m in full swing packing mode as I move in just two weeks. (whoo-hooo!)

For the past month my Friday’s have been dedicated to UP-Cycles and DIY’s, however, I can’t access anything, nor do I have any more floor space, so I thought I would share some of my decor ideas for my new space.

A little backstory … I currently live in a high-rise condo, and I’m not moving out of the building but up (3 Floors), to a larger space, with a slightly different footprint.  The object of planning is not to get ahead of myself and spend too much money on things I already have.

When I moved into my space 10 years ago it came partially furnished (it’s big bulky furniture), so I’m leaving that behind and starting fresh.

Furniture

I don’t planing on getting too many things right away but something things are happening sooner rather than later. I’ve been working with PlanYourRoom.com (not sponsored) which is a really basic online tool to help you arrange your furniture in your space.

Dining Room

I just want really simple, classic furniture and my style is a Mid-Century Modern Farm.

I’m Shopping

1. Metal Dining Vintage Chairs (Budget friendly) | Alternate ** Spindle Side Chairs **

2. Faux Sheepskin (cushion for the chairs)

3. Cane Bark Round Table (this is on the way)

4. Ombre Tassel Shag Rug (practical for a pet)| In a perfect world ** Faux Cowhide Rug

5. Glass Frames w/White matting (I can create something on Photoshop and print this at home)

6. Modern Teak Buffet (This is last on the list, and I may try to fix an existing piece that I have and make that work)

Up next are the two bathrooms, and I’ve already started piecing together some decorations.  They don’t really need anything but rugs, towels, and some personalization.

With that I’ll end here.  Thanks so much for checking out my post today.  I want to thank everyone who told me to be patient in this moving process and not stress.  Your kind words mean so much to me during this time.

I’ll be back with more DIYs & Up-CYCLES soon.  Have a great weekend! — Peace —
