Hello Everyone! and Happy Wednesday…I’m here with another great app that I found for those who are in need of stress relief or just have trouble focusing. While I’m still using the other Guided Mind App (I use a few) + to aid me in my sleeping + I’ve also found the app called Calm.
The guided meditation sessions are available in lengths of 3 to 25 minutes so you can choose the length of time that fits your schedule. (Source/Apple App Store)

I’ve found the breathe portion to be very helpful in just calming my body and preparing for sleep. I’ve had issues in the past with falling asleep and I didn’t want to go back on a medication which makes you feel a little like …. someone slipped you something. I also didn’t find myself walking up refreshed but more groggy and irritable. I know that I needed something to make this happen for me naturally and so far so good. This is not an instant cure + it does take time and practice to train the mind and your body towards this healthier habit.

You can customize your background and yes there is sound + so with my “thunderstorm” background lightening will flash intermediately + as with the screen before the flowers sway.

There is also this story section + choose a story to help you fall asleep
The app is free (this is the option that I have) or you can enhance your experience further by paying to unlock more features. The Calm app has a 4.8 rating on the Apple App Store as was Apples 2017 App of the Year so it’s definitely worth a try if you want to learn how to meditate or enhance your experience further.
